Re felting a summer house roof.
Simply multiply length x width and you will find the area of one side.
You can do this by calculating the length and width of each side of your roof.
The original fascia barge boards will then be refitted.
Once finished we ll take all the old felt away and dispose of it and your garden shed or summer house will be ready for use and will last for many years to come.
Rubble sacks or strong waste bags for the disposal of the old felt.
We will then re felt with either our standard duty or premium duty felt as shown below.
All you need is a tape measure a pencil a straight edge or long piece of timber a stanley knife a claw hammer gloves and a ladder.
I know its not a tool but great weather too.
Its good value but sheds etc unless you have the gear the cost to use bitumen or torch on is very easy to set fire to.
This will cost around 460 510 made up of.
We offer a re felting service for sheds summerhouses and workshops.
Re felting a summer house roof doesn t need any specialised tools.
Usally last over 10 done right loads of cowboys do felt roofing did one a bit back last time we did it 24 yrs ago so for the cost.
The existing fascia barge boards will be taken off and the old felt removed.
Where wind driven rain is working under the roof and causing leaks then the felt will need to be replaced.
Once everything is ready we ll install trade use roofing felt which will last much longer than most of the products that are available from diy outlets.
